Precautions and Limitations
- Blood glucose estimations on the Lynx meter should only be attempted between 18oCto 35oC.
- After the blood has been wiped, it is very important to insert the test strip all the way into the strip carrier. (Hold the strip close to the pads and push it hard into the carrier.) This will ensure that the meter reads the strip correctly.
- Make sure the blood covers both pads correctly. Insufficient blood on the strip will give an incorrect reading.
Storage And Handling Of Test Strips:
The test strip container should be closed immediately after use and stored in a cool dry place between 4°C and 30°C.Prolonged exposure to humidity or light can affect the performance of the strip.
